Cache Creek to Prince George, BC 272 miles
Fuel stop at 150 Mile House.
Lunch at a Tim Hortens somewhere, don't remember where.
This is a straight shot up BC-97.  There are motels and restaurants pretty much the whole way with big concentrations around towns like 100 Mile House, 150 Mile House and Williams Lake.  I didn't remember so much development on this route.
Tonight at 97 Motor Inn where I've stayed before.
Dinner at the Great Wall Restaurant which has a Chinese buffet that I'd been looking forward to for days.
Spent some time on the phone looking for a rear tire for the bike.  Found one that I'll pick up tomorrow.

Leaving Cache Creek the road shortly leaves the high desert landscape and rises into forest land.  Here black spruce and later some aspen seem to predominate.  The spruce here is tall and robust unlike the stunted version that you find farther north in the tundra areas.

Between the forests the road sometimes dips into a high valley.  Some valleys are quite idyllic with small farms, pasture land (strangely, no livestock that I saw), rolls of hay in the fields and a stream or pond.  This picture is not a good example.
