Threw away the brown rice I was carrying.  It's bulky, heavy and takes too long to cook wasting camp stove fuel.  I keep bringing it on long trips as a nod to my health-conscious side but then never cook it.  Enough! Never again!

I should pack more oatmeal.  It's light, cooks quickly and I like it in the morning.  Since one can buy it everywhere, it makes sense to pack it in the smallest amount that is readily available in grocery stores.
